Last weekend, Garrett went to a friends birthday party.  He was excited because they had a bounce house and slide to play on.  It also had the cutest circus themed decorations--I wish I had taken pics.

Balloons and a bouncer and he is set!

Yummy-and cute- treats

PARTY FAVORS GONE BAD!!

So a few days later, we are sitting in the parking lot at Target so I can get a package ready to carry to the post office, and Garrett is supposed to getting buckled up.  When I get done, I turn around to ask if he  is ready to go, and this is what I find.
The cute little circus hat stamper that was a party favor has turned into "putting on tattoo" using his words!!   After going through about 15 wipes, there were only faint blue marks where all the ink had been.

Swim lessons

This is the third season for swim lessons.  The past two were through ISR and they were wonderful, however this year we are tying out group lessons from the YMCA.  This year he goes 2 days a week for 40 minutes which is much more convenient than every day for 10 minutes.

Ready to swim

I will say he is much, much, much more excited about these lessons than the ISR lessons, but it is taking him so much longer to pick up on the concepts.

Every other child in his class wore a backpack float and he told Ms. Carly that he didn't need one.  Which in his defense, he has not been in any type of float or life jacket since he was about 9-10 months old.
