I now remember why Garrett wears longalls and rompers to church on Sunday---so that he can still look like a baby!!

Almost a big boy!
Last Sunday was a big day for the Green's....
It was the first day EVER, including the day he was born, that Garrett did without his passy ALL day--including nap and bedtime!! I would have never imagined it to be that easy, but the big question was, Would it last? Longer than I expected--he did without it just fine for FOUR WHOLE DAYS!! This is the same child who had one in his mouth almost constantly--and if he wanted one and didn't have it, he would lead you to the drawer where we kept the extras wanting you to get him one. However, by nap time on Thursday, I do believe it clicked with him that he didn't have it, and he wanted it. So of course I gave in and let him have it--but only for naps!! Since then, he only gets his passy at nap time and as soon as he gets up--it gets put away until the next day at nap time. Oh and the big smile on his face when you hand it to him--it even makes me smile!! It sure will be hard for me to take away something that he loves so dearly!!

A day at the zoo
We had such beautiful weather last week--a touch of summer almost--that on Friday, we decided to go to the zoo. There were lots of animals to see, but with Garrett being so young we mainly just looked at the big animals-elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, tigers, etc.
