A little singed...

Just a little curious about me toasting almonds--

He likes to stand on a chair or on his step stool while I cook, and this particular time he leaned over a little to much and his hair touched the side of the pan.

Chippy has arrived

Garrett named his elf this year Chippy.  Anyone that knows him well knows that he is very basic when finding a new name for something--Chippy was the name of the elf from the Elf on the Shelf tv show :)

Chippy

He came bearing gifts--pajamas, a book, snow covered donuts and milk

Christmas card pics

Here are only a few of very many pictures that were taken to try to get a few decent ones for our Christmas card!  He was one happy little boy--who was not interested in being still long enough for a pic.

Isn't he the cutest!!

Putting up our Christmas tree

Yes-- I know I am crazy, but we usually put up our tree the first week of November.  I feel that there is too much work involved to only have it up for a couple of weeks---and Garrett loves it, he would leave it up all year if I would let him.  I will admit only having one tree this year was super easy!

Decorating wouldn't be complete if you didn't have to get on the ladder :)

Halloween at the Library

After all these post, I feel as though we have celebrated Halloween all month.  There is just so much to do around here and we want to do it all!!

Halloween morning, our local library had fun activities for the kids and you could trick or treat to the different sections.  We met our friend whose husband is also in the endo program and her son.

Garrett and Hutson

Garrett stayed in his costume and helped hand out candy to the many trick or treaters who stopped by our house.
